2320 EYE CLINIC
The facade is conceived as one solid and elongated volume with an extra emphatic linear accent by means of a steel canopy. The entrance to the clinic was deliberately positioned centrally in the facade, making the approach to the building all the more monumental.
This facade is not screaming for attention but rather staying austerely and provoking curiosity the closer you approach. A singular horizontal line brakes the height and emphasizes the length of the building.
The connection from within the building towards the landscape is framed by large floor-to-ceiling windows in a dark earth-tone color. As a result all rooms and corridors feel bright and spacious which is crucial to enhance a positive experience for the patients.
The interior of this project is designed with a limited palette of materials that welcome patients and make them instantly feel at ease while awaiting their consultation with the eye specialist. All furniture is designed by our office in a straight forward manner and custom made without any detail being overlooked.
